  • Your Part A Hospital deductible: $1,288 per event.

  • $322 per day per day for days 61-90 of a hospital stay

  • $644 per day for costs for each hospital day stay per each “lifetime reserve day” after day 90 (up to 60 days over your lifetime)

  • All hospital cost after your 60 lifetime reserve days have been exhausted.

  • $161 per day for skilled nursing facility for days 21 through 100

  • Your Part B deductible $166

  • 20% doctor’s fees and 100% of fees over the Medicare-approved amount for services

A Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) policy, sold by private companies, can help pay some or ALL the “gaps” Original Medicare does not cover. In addition, some plans may include an additional 365 days of hospital coverage and no charge and up to $50,000 of coverage for Foreign Travel Emergencies.

  • No medical underwriting when member first enroll in Medicare Part B (Usually when they turn 65).

  • Plans may range from $75 to over $150 depending on gender and State of residence.

  • Members need to go through medical underwriting if they want to change plans after the Initial Open Enrollment (First 6 months after turning 65 and enrolling in Medicare Part B.
